A Shared Standard

We partner with designers and builders who approach their work with intention.

Successful outcomes depend on understanding how the material behaves, designing within its constraints, and executing with care. The result is a project that moves cleanly from specification through installation, delivers a distinct, considered design, and holds up in daily use.

Our partnership tiers reflect more than purchase volume. They recognize a demonstrated ability to specify, manage, and execute projects at a high level.

As alignment increases, so do the benefits—through preferred pricing, priority access, and a more integrated working relationship.

Partner Benefits

We work alongside our partners to refine designs, guide decisions, and ensure each piece is built and installed with the material in mind.

Design & Specification Support

We don’t simply build to specification. Each project is reviewed to ensure it works with the material, the application, and the way the space will be used.

Solid wood requires a different approach than stone or composite surfaces. Grain direction, board selection, and the placement of seams and joints all influence the final appearance. These decisions are considered early, so the finished piece reads as intentional rather than assembled.

We provide guidance on construction, movement, support, and finish selection—refining designs to align both performance and aesthetic outcome.

Smoother Project Execution

A clear specification and approval process keeps projects moving and reduces friction during production and installation.

Our production hold process allows materials to be secured and pricing to be locked in before fabrication begins. This gives partners flexibility as project schedules evolve, while maintaining cost certainty and avoiding delays tied to reordering or repricing.

Production is scheduled based on approved drawings, with ongoing communication through fabrication so there are no surprises at delivery or installation.

Priority & Pricing

Our tiered structure reflects the strength of the working relationship—not just order volume.

As partners demonstrate alignment in specification, communication, and execution, they gain access to preferred pricing, priority in production, and more efficient turnaround on quotes and revisions.

Samples, Displays & Sales Support

Samples and displays are provided to support active specification, client presentation, and project planning throughout the design process.

New trade partners receive a limited number of complimentary sample credits.

Additional sample credits are earned through placed orders and may be used toward future project sampling.

Because each surface is built for a specific application, sample recommendations are based on project details such as wood species, finish requirements, sink locations, intended use, and whether the surface will be used for direct chopping or food preparation.

Display units are offered on a structured basis, with placement and composition aligned to how the product will be presented and sold.

For showroom partners, we offer preferred pricing on full-size display pieces. These installations function as long-term sales tools and should reflect how the product is specified and used in real projects.

Samples and displays are intended to support active collaboration and are allocated based on account activity, project fit, and order history.

Visibility & Portfolio Building

Completed projects are selected for feature across our website and marketing channels.

We work with partners to document finished installations and build a body of work that reflects both the design intent and the execution.

How the Partnership Works

Projects move through a defined process from initial inquiry through delivery, with clear checkpoints for specification, approval, and production.

1. Inquiry & Quoting

Projects move through a defined process from initial inquiry through delivery, with clear checkpoints for specification, approval, and fabrication.

2. Design Review & Specification

Drawings and specifications are refined to align with the material, construction requirements, and intended use.

Grain direction, board selection, seams, support, and finish are confirmed at this stage so the final piece performs and reads as intended.

3. Production Hold & Final Specification

A deposit secures materials and establishes pricing, allowing the project to move forward without exposure to changes in cost or availability.

In most cases, fabrication is held until final field conditions are confirmed. This allows dimensions to be verified—often after cabinetry or surrounding elements are installed—so the piece is built to fit the space as executed, not assumed.

Where schedules or project conditions require it, fabrication can proceed earlier based on approved specifications.

4. Fabrication

Production is scheduled based on approved drawings and finalized specifications.

Each piece moves through milling, assembly, and finishing with ongoing quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.

5. Delivery & Installation

Completed pieces are packaged and shipped with guidance for handling, installation, and long-term performance.

Coordination at this stage ensures the installation aligns with the design and functions as intended.

Partnership Levels

Our partnership levels reflect the degree of collaboration across product development, specification, and execution.

The most effective partnerships extend beyond individual projects—working together to develop products and build an approach that gives our partners a clear advantage with their clients.

This alignment leads to more consistent outcomes, more efficient execution, and a more distinctive and competitive portfolio of work.

Registered Partner

Access to quoting, baseline trade pricing, and project support.

Suitable for partners beginning to work with solid wood or exploring its application within their projects.

Preferred Partner

Demonstrated consistency in specification, communication, and execution.

Projects reflect a clear understanding of the material and how it is presented within the space.

Access to improved pricing, priority in production scheduling, and more efficient turnaround on quotes and revisions.

Expanded sample support for active projects and client presentation.

Strategic Partner

Ongoing collaboration across specification, development, and execution.

These partnerships often involve early project coordination, repeat material programs, custom product development, or integrated support across multiple projects.

Work is approached as a long-term collaboration rather than a series of individual orders, allowing for greater consistency, more efficient execution, and a stronger, more differentiated body of work.

Priority access to production planning, specification support, sampling, and coordinated project management.

Advancement & Expectations

Partnership level reflects ongoing alignment in how projects are specified, communicated, and executed.

Advancement is based on:

  • Clear and complete project information
  • Demonstrated understanding of material behavior and installation requirements
  • Consistent communication and responsiveness
  • Proper execution in the field
  • Documentation of completed work (photos, project references)

Finish Selection Guide

Select a finish based on how the surface will be used and maintained over time.

Mineral Oil & Organic Beeswax

Best for: Frequent chopping
Maintenance: Frequent, easy
Feel: Soft, natural matte
Repairability: Excellent

Pure Tung Oil

Best for: Infrequent chopping
Maintenance: Periodic, more involved
Feel: Satin, warmer tone
Repairability: Good

Rubio Monocoat™

Best for: General use surfaces
Maintenance: Low
Feel: Matte, raw wood appearance
Repairability: Localized repairs possible

Impermio™ Film Finish

Best for: High moisture / heavy use
Maintenance: Minimal
Feel: Sealed, protected surface
Repairability: Not spot-repairable

How to Choose

  • Choose Mineral Oil & Organic Beeswax for active chopping surfaces that can recover from wear over time
  • Choose Pure Tung Oil for reduced maintenance with occasional cutting and a warmer, naturally evolving appearance
  • Choose Rubio Monocoat™ for low-maintenance, general-use surfaces without direct cutting
  • Choose Impermio™ Film Finish where moisture resistance and long-term protection are the priority
