Changes & Returns

Custom work requires commitment. Once production begins, changes are limited and cancellations may not be possible. We aim to be fair and transparent at every stage.

Before Production

  • Orders may be modified or cancelled
  • Deposits are refundable, less materials already purchased and any design or administrative time incurred
  • Approved drawings or specifications must be updated and re-approved before work proceeds

After Production Has Begun

  • Approved changes will be quoted based on materials already purchased and work completed
  • In many cases, changes require partial or full remanufacture
  • Adjustments may impact pricing and production timelines

Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled after production has begun are non-refundable
  • Work completed to date and materials purchased will be charged
  • Custom pieces are built specifically for each project and are considered committed once fabrication starts

Returns

Because each piece is built to order:

  • We do not accept returns for custom products
  • Color and grain variation, knots, and natural movement are inherent to solid wood and are not considered defects
  • Products built to approved specifications are considered final

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

All products must be inspected upon delivery.

  • Visible shipping damage must be noted with the carrier at the time of receipt
  • Failure to document damage at delivery may void shipping claims
  • Concealed damage, fabrication errors, or specification issues should be reported promptly upon discovery
  • Products should be inspected prior to installation and within a reasonable timeframe after delivery

Please refer to our full Shipping & Receiving Guide for detailed instructions.

If a manufacturing defect or error is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.

Our Approach

We work closely with our clients to avoid issues before they happen. Clear drawings, approvals, and communication are part of our order process—so that what arrives is exactly what was intended.
