Custom White Oak Tabletop Details
Handcrafted in Colorado from sustainably sourced white oak, our custom white oak tabletops are built to order for dining rooms, offices, conference rooms, studios, hospitality spaces, and custom furniture projects. Each tabletop is made to your selected dimensions, thickness, edge profile, finish, and project details.
White Oak Hardwood
White oak is known for its light tan to golden-brown color, strong linear grain, and durable hardwood character. It can include subtle mineral streaks, ray fleck, and natural color variation depending on the board selection and finish.
White oak is a strong choice for tabletops that need a clean, bright appearance without feeling overly delicate or plain.
Premium Grain Selection
Standard white oak may include a natural mix of plain-sawn grain, linear grain, ray fleck, and subtle board-to-board variation. Premium rift-sawn and quartersawn selections are available as an upgrade for customers who prefer a straighter, more consistent grain pattern or more pronounced ray fleck.
Rift-sawn and quartersawn availability may vary based on lumber selection and final tabletop dimensions. Final board layout is selected for appearance, stability, and overall balance.
Wide Plank Construction
Wide plank tabletops are made from wider hardwood boards selected and arranged to highlight the natural grain of the wood. This construction style creates a furniture-like surface with fewer glue lines than traditional butcher block, making it especially well suited for dining tables, desks, conference tables, and statement furniture pieces.

Finish Options
Every white oak tabletop is made to order and available with a range of finish options based on the intended use of the piece. Choose from natural oil finishes, Rubio Monocoat, or more protective finish systems depending on whether the tabletop will be used for dining, office work, hospitality, or general furniture use.
Rubio Monocoat is available in a range of colors, which can be reviewed on the Rubio Monocoat color guide. Some Rubio color selections may require additional charges depending on the color, application requirements, or project specifications.
Measuring & Ordering
This custom white oak tabletop is built to your selected dimensions, thickness, edge profile, finish, and project details.
Enter your tabletop dimensions in whole inches, then use the “Plus” fields to add any fractional inch measurement. Width or depth is measured across the grain, while length is measured in the direction of the wood grain. For more help, see our sizing guidelines.
If your project requires unusual sizing, matching pieces, special edge details, base coordination, rounded corners, arced or racetrack ends, circular or elliptical shaping, or other custom details, include those notes when ordering or contact us before placing your order.
Lead Time & Shipping
Most custom white oak tabletops are built after the order is placed. Lead times vary based on size, thickness, finish selection, wood availability, production schedule, and project complexity.
Finish selection can affect production time. Rubio Monocoat, tung oil, and protective film finishes may require additional curing or handling time before the tabletop can be packaged safely.
Tabletops are carefully packaged for shipment after finishing and final inspection. Shipping time depends on destination, size, weight, and carrier requirements. Before delivery, please review our shipping and receiving guidelines so you know what to expect when your tabletop arrives.
Use & Care
Allow your tabletop time to acclimate to its environment before installation or final placement. Store it flat, fully supported, and away from direct heat, moisture, or extreme humidity changes.
Solid wood responds to changes in temperature and humidity, so proper support, finish care, and routine maintenance are important. For complete guidance, review our installation and care instructions.
Please Note
Because white oak is a natural hardwood, variations in grain, color, ray fleck, mineral streaks, and plank layout are expected. These natural differences are part of the character of each white oak tabletop and may vary from the photos shown.
We recommend ordering a sample of your preferred species and finish when final color is important, as the finished tone of the wood may vary across finish options.
