Add a touch of warmth and exotic hardwood beauty to your kitchen with a Brazilian Cherry Butcher Block Countertop from Armani Fine Woodworking. Also known as Jatoba, this is the hardest, densest, and heaviest wood countertop that we offer. Perfect for fans of cooking and entertaining, this countertop will be sure to provide the elegance and functionality you are looking for, while impressing family and friends who visit your home.

Lovers of rich, dark colors in their wood, look no further. The Brazilian Cherry Butcher Block Countertop has a wide range of red, reddish brown, and deep red tones for a striking, exotic look that will darken somewhat over time. With Brazilian Cherry, you can enjoy a significant amount of color variation in the wood, for an interesting and intriguing visual appeal. Plus, we make our countertops with full length strips of hardwood to display the wood’s beautiful continuous grain, and don’t rely on short pieces or blended style tops. We also have Mineral oil and Organic Beeswax, Monocoat, and Everlast Satin Varnish finish options that you can choose from, too.

Our process is simple: we start by obtaining the best possible wood: both premium grade and sustainably sourced. These hand-selected pieces of lumber are then custom arranged to create a beautiful countertop in accordance with your desired specifications. We’ll custom build your countertop precisely to your liking.

Our small shop is dedicated to making your countertop the perfect fit for you. All Armani Fine Woodworking products are custom made to order and food safe. If mineral oil and beeswax finish on our countertops, you can chop directly on them with peace of mind. Plus, the edge grain wood orientation of the butcher block kitchen island countertop makes them extra durable for chopping, dicing, and all other food prep activities. That being said, you don’t have to be a chef to appreciate the durable, high quality build of our countertops.

Outstanding product and service

Sorry it's taken so long to do this. It's taken a long time for my contractor to complete the renovation. I had them put this in a corner of my kitchen at table height with oak legs and support pieces and deep shelves underneath, so I can use this for prep work, dining for two, and storage of kitchen equipment. It looks spectacular. Thanks so much for your quality work and quick delivery.

Excellent prodcut and service

From initial contact to final delivery, Joe was exemplary. The countertop is very nicely constructed with consistent, high quality wood chosen and spot-on measurements. Joe was responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. He promptly sent samples to help me select the wood I wanted, and when I ran into contractor delays that necessitated waiting until the last minute to get final measurements, Joe accommodated a rush request so that we could have a countertop on our move-in date. My brother is a custom woodworker who owns a shop that makes cabinets, built-in shelving, spiral stairs, furniture and the like. He couldn't touch Joe's price or turn around time and was also impressed by the craftsmanship of Joe's product. I have zero complaints, would unequivocally recommend Joe to anyone considering a butcherblock top and will definitely be a repeat customer should I find myself in the market for another wood top.
