If you ordered your piece unfinished, you must seal it immediately upon receipt to protect the wood from warping (checking, cupping, etc.) and/or glue joint separation. Please note that wood stains will dry out the wood and therefore must be paired with a sealer. Once sealed, you should follow your finish manufacturer’s recommendations for the future care and maintenance of your piece. Please note that we do not warranty unfinished pieces.
